Spicy Curry Rub / Dressing - Marinade

Spicy as in flavor-filled, not hot, this blend is great on pork chops, brisket and roasts. You can just rub it on or make into a marinade that doubles as a salad dressing and it is totally salt-free. Because it has just the right amount of spice, but not enough to burn you can also sprinkle it on vegetables and eggs or blend it into butter to make a great spread. Recipes for all these many uses are included.

The photo is the blend on pork chops.

The blend contains onion, basil, marjoram, mustard, paprika, garlic, thyme, celery seed, and parsley, mixed with our special hand-crafted curry powder and a touch of black pepper.

I make 45 different "Herb Mixes." Each is blended to make a specific food item, like a dressing, rub, dip or spread. Recipes and tips for using the blend are included. These are packaged in a zip seal pouch with decorative labeling.

Because I grow and blend the herbs myself I can assure you no preservatives or pesticides have been used. I can also guarantee that these blends will hold up to storage for at least 18 months and still provide a flavorful item.

At the Backyard Patch I craft blends of home-grown herbs to use in cooking and entertaining. Each mix comes in a zip seal pouch for easy storage along with tips, instructions and easy-to-follow recipes for creating herb-flavored delights. Although each was originally crafted to make a particular item, years of experimentation by customers and family has resulted in extra recipes and variations which are included with each mix.

Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we hand-blend only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

Although the weights vary each package contains three (3) tablespoons of the blend which in most cases is enough to make two recipes.
