Backyard Patch Herbal Teas are hand-crafted blends of healing and flavorful herbs and spices that create a perfect cup of tea. We have always blended our teas for taste first, crafting blends that bring out the unique flavors of herbs. Having no caffeine and no preservatives you get only the best of each herb. The blends are formulated for specific flavors or healing properties, but no inherent healing is guaranteed. Always consult your health care professional before self-treating with herbal blends.

Because we use only the freshest herbs, all blends from the Backyard Patch have an 18 to 24 month shelf-life guarantee for both the loose and bagged tea. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

For added health benefit use this tea to craft the ice cubes needed for this great tasting smoothie recipe:

Grapefruit Hibiscus Tea Smoothies
1 large grapefruit
8 hibiscus tea ice cubes
Natural sweetener, if needed

Peel, section and juice grapefruit. Add grapefruit sections with juice and hibiscus tea ice cubes to blender container. Cover and blend until slushy. Sweeten to taste.
Makes 2 servings

Herbal Teas often have medicinal qualities; but no medicinal applications are recommended without consulting your physician. Any medicinal claims made are strictly based on herb lore and not medical fact. Self-medicating with herbs should never be done without proper genuine medical advice. This is my disclaimer -- and I add, choose your herb teas because you enjoy them! I craft my teas for taste first.
