Italian Dressing & Marinade Herb Blend for Cooking, Hand-blended dry HERB MIX, gluten free

One of the first two blends I created when Backyard Patch Herbs began back in 1994. This mix makes both a salad dressing and a marinade. The marinade is superb on both beef and chicken. A perfect alternative to store-bought blends, this contains no preservatives and much less sodium. It includes a variety of herbs including dill, rosemary, thyme, salt and onion. 

A Salt-free version is also available with an extra collection of ingredients to give bold flavors with no salt. It includes: onion, garlic, sugar, oregano, parsley, basil, black pepper, thyme dry mustard and Backyard Patch Do-it-all Seasoning (basil, chives, coriander, lavender, lemon peel, marjoram, oregano, parsley, rosemary, thyme, tarragon, fennel, garlic, sage, savory, allspice, ginger)

I make 39 different "Herb Mixes." Each is blended to make a specific food item, like a dressing, rub, dip or spread. Recipes and tips for using the blend are included. These are packaged in a zip seal pouch with decorative labeling.

Because I grow and blend the herbs myself I can assure you no preservatives or pesticides have been used. I can also guarantee that these blends will hold up to storage for at least 18 months and still provide a flavorful item.

At the Backyard Patch I craft blends of home-grown herbs to use in cooking and entertaining. Each mix comes in a zip seal pouch for easy storage along with tips, instructions and easy-to-follow recipes for creating herb-flavored delights. Although each was originally crafted to make a particular item, years of experimentation by customers and family has resulted in extra recipes and variations which are included with each mix.

Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we hand-blend only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

Although the weights vary each package contains three (3) tablespoons of the blend which in most cases is enough to make two recipes.
