I shared this recipe on my newsletter back in 2013, but the newsletter was much smaller back then, so I thought this would be the perfect time to reshare it. It has a wonderful spicy flavor and the orange peel and rose hips give you great amounts of vitamin C to ward off colds and flu!
Cinnamon Holidays Tea Blend
1/4 cup broken rose hips
1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers, broken up
1/4 cup orange peel
2 Tbls. cinnamon pieces
2 tsp. whole cloves
A few lemon verbena leaves, crumbled
Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container. Use approx. 1 tsp. per cup boiling water. Steep. Sweeten with herbal honey, if desired.
