Recipes - Horseradish Spread /Horsey Dip

Horsey Sandwich Spread

1 Tbls Backyard Patch Horsey Dip or Horseradish Spread

1 Tbls water

½ cup sour Cream

1 tsp rice vinegar

Cover Dip mix with water, let stand a few minutes for flavor to develop, Add sour cream and vinegar.  Whisk well to combine.  Refrigerate until ready to use.

BACON HORSERADISH DIP 

2 cups sour cream

1 3 oz. can bacon bits

1 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

1 Tbls. Backyard Patch Horsey Dip or Horseradish Spread

Blend all ingredients together in order and chill at least one hour before serving with pita chips, melba toast, or crackers.

Horseradish Salad Dressing

1 cup yogurt

2 Tbls. Backyard Patch Horseradish Spread

1 Tbls. Vinegar (herbal is best)

1 Tbls. sugar

¼ tsp. paprika

salt to taste

Combine all ingredients.  Cover and chill at least 4 hours.

Twice Baked Potatoes

10 baking potatoes

8 oz. Neufchatel (low fat cream cheese)

¼ cup butter

¾ cup milk

3 to 4 Tbls. Backyard Patch Horsey Dip

2 Tbls. Chives

1 cup shredded cheddar

Bake potatoes at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until soft.  Cool slightly.  Then cut tops off of the potato lengthwise and scrape the insides into a bowl.  Add remain ingredients, mix well.  Put the potatoes filling back into the potato shells.  Garnish with cheddar cheese, pimento and chives.  Bake at 350 degrees until warm.
