Scones made easy and flavorful with simple mixes from the Backyard Patch. These blends include all but the liquids you need to make a dozen uniquely flavored scones.

* Lemon Cream Scones are a traditional recipe to which heavy cream and vanilla are added. This scone is simple with a just right lemon flavor that makes it great in the morning and perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. You can add raisins too, if you like. Slip them into your lunch bag to be the envy of the other cubicles. The flavoring comes from lemon peel and bit of lemon balm. Any lemon tea is a great combination, like Zesty Lemon Herb Tea or Lemon Bergamot Black Tea.

* Friendship Scones have mini chocolate chips, making a great afternoon or morning companion with tea. This blend includes all you need to make a dozen uniquely flavored drop scones. With sweet chocolate mini chips and other flavors this is a great gift and a wonderful addition to your breakfast or holiday buffet. A good tea to combine with this scone is something sweet without sugar, like Dreamtime herbal tea or Teatime Herbal Tea.

* Cardamom Scones have ground cardamom and other spices, and is perfect for a winter/holiday tea party or breakfast. This blend includes all you need to make a dozen uniquely flavored rolled scones. * Lavender Cranberry Cream Scones is a perfect combination of lavender flower buds and dried cranberries. It is a sweet tart refresher that is great in the morning or as an afternoon snack. At the Backyard Patch I use only the finest flour, sugar and herbal ingredients in my hand-blended creations for scones and shortbread. They are both unique and simple to prepare. Adding liquid ingredients or butter is all you need to do.

Each blend is packaged in a cellophane pouch and can be stored in any cool and dry location. Full instructions are included.

Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we use only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.
