+ Salt-free Ranch Dressing

Salt-free Lemon Chive Dressing Mix -- It has taken years to perfect this salt-free dressing, but I think I have created the perfect blend of flavors to make an excellent dressing that can also serve as a marinade. It can be made three different ways giving you everything from a vinaigrette to a creamy dressing. Contains: Lemon peel, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lemon thyme, lemon grass, oregano, and black pepper.

Green Chervil Dressing -- Another salt-free dressing you can blend this with yogurt to make a creamy dressing but also a perfect vegetable dip. The sweet subtle flavor of chervil makes it a great summer addition.

Curry Spice Salt-free Dressing -- The newest addition to our Herb Mix line can be used not only as a dressing or marinade, but also as a meat rub, butter flavoring for vegetables and a sprinkle on salads and eggs. It has just the right hint of spice but not enough to burn. The blend contains onion, basil, marjoram, mustard, paprika, garlic, thyme, celery seed, and parsley, are mixed with our special hand-crafted curry powder and a touch of black pepper.

Salt-Free Ruby Dressing - Combine with lemon juice, olive oil and a bit of fresh grated onion to make a perfect salt-free dressing that is not only a perfect complement to any salad greens, but also wonderful as a pasta toss and superb as a chicken marinade. It contains sugar, parsley, paprika, thyme, dry mustard and black pepper.

Salt-Free Ranch Dressing - New in the summer of 2014 we tried this out in our early markets with great success so we are finally able to offer a perfectly good ranch dressing with no salt at all and the pest part, you can make it with yogurt for a bit of tang.

I make 39 different "Herb Mixes." Each is blended to make a specific food item, like a dressing, rub, dip or spread. Recipes and tips for using the blend are included. These are packaged in a zip seal pouch with decorative labeling.

At the Backyard Patch I craft blends of home-grown herbs to use in cooking and entertaining. Each mix comes in a zip seal pouch for easy storage along with tips, instructions and easy-to-follow recipes for creating herb-flavored delights. Although each was originally crafted to make a particular item, years of experimentation by customers and family has resulted in extra recipes and variations which are included with each mix.

Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we hand-blend only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

Although the weights vary each package contains three (3) tablespoons of the blend which in most cases is enough to make at least two recipes.
