Blend #1 Spiced Cider Simmer – Use as a simmer to scent your home or kitchen or add to apple cider or red or white wine for a spiced drink your family and friends will love. Contains: cinnamon, cloves, allspice, star anise, lemon & orange peel and lemon balm.

Blend #2 Jingle Bell Simmer - This combo of herbs and seasonal scents like pine and orange will give your home the great smell of cooking and holiday joy! Contains: Cinnamon, allspice, star anise, coriander seed, orange peel, cloves, nutmeg, sage, licorice root, pine cones and seasonal essential oils (THIS BLEND CANNOT BE EATEN OR DRUNK)

We pride ourselves on the long shelf-life our herbs have and make not only cider blends like this, but herb flavored teas, cooking blends and seasonings, as well as bath items. The herbs we raise ourselves and all items we use are chemical-free.

A customer gave me this great recipe you can make with this blend -- in addition there is a traditional spiced cider recipe and Glogg recipe that comes with the blend.

Cran-Apple Cider
12 cups apple juice
6 cups cranberry juice
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pkg. of Backyard Patch Spiced Cider / Mulled Wine Blend

Simmer on low heat for 30-45 minutes.
